Is anyone familiar with an Appraisal Company out of Liberty South Carolina that is using Digital signatures on the Appraisals with out the owner of the company actually signing off on the appraisals for the apprentices? It has come to my attention that an Appraisal Company that i filed a complaint against located in South Carolina is doing so and that the owner of the company doesnt really sign off on the appraisals for his Apprentices at all. In fact 3 Mortgage Brokers have come foward and agreed to sign statements stating that they have seen Investors who dont even work for the appraisal company and Apprentices actually sign the owner of the companys name to the appraisals. Whats up with that ? It has also come to my attention and the attention of the South Carolina Appraisal Board that the appraisal company owns houses in the same area that i did. Now why would my Values go down by 50% and the houses owned by People at this Appraisal Company keep the same values as they had when they purchased their properties ? Keep in mind these houses are in the same neighborhoods !!! Another Mortgage Company who closed their doors out of fear has actually agreed to sign statements stating that this same appraisal company had an apprentice signing the owner of the company's name inside their offices. Now get this, back in 2001 i had bought a group of 7 houses and they were appraised by an honest investor friendly appraiser. Well, a few months went by and i told a mortgage broker that if they sent me a buyer for the 7 houses that i would pay them a finders fee. Well they came up with a buyer and that was fine, job well done. However,next thing you know they have an appraiser from this same appraisal company that i have the complaint against now come out and appraise my 7 houses for the buyer that they had found and all of the values were all of a sudden $15,000 to $25,000 higher. The appraiser didnt know that i had my original appraisals from 2 months earlier because i never mentioned it because i was spending most of my time dealing with my Dad in the hospital. Sadly i didnt find this out until 2006 because of the many Tragedies i was going through back then. I found out because a mortgage broker told me that this appraisal company was under investigation by Fannie Mae and possibly the Secret Service. (Now what that appraiser did in 2001 is on them,i really dont care.) I then started looking in to these matters after my dealings with them and discovered alot of Fraud. I even met one guy who had his life threatened over some appraisals done by this company and I will never say his name to anyone because i promised him that i wouldnt. Now i havent filed charges against these people yet but i am sure considering doing so. I want your opinions if you guys dont mind,what would you do in this situation ? I dont like ruining peoples lives but they nearly destroyed mine on purpose. Please,give me your opinions,how would you handle this situation?
